Patience is important in customer service IMHO along with making the time to personalize it through listening even if a service cannot necessarily customize the product because of business reality of the industry. I struggle with the complexities of language in all sorts of professional practices that I do not practice myself. Insurance is no different when you want to get into the nitty gritty because costs are high and have to be reckoned with. No one likes insurance bills and it must be a tough practice to deal with some of us customers who toil over the details and costs, increases, etc. State Farm has definitely treated me fairly over the years with fair pricing as I age and manage my insured products more responsibly. My auto premium on their Drive Safe program proves it which they urged I try. I probably would make a mistake of going for a lesser, shiny and cheaper insurance coverage from another carrier if it were not for the diligence of my last check in about home insurance. Ms. Rachelle Friend at SF Hume agency office answered all my questions so well that I'll stick with the Farm and the Hume Agency. Even if a brand logo is on the door, not all insurance agents are of equal value and service. I've learned that from the Hume Agency in comparison to other brands as well as other SF offices. Give them a call. 5+ star of a many-year customer who has not gone shopping elsewhere; and there is reward and savings in this. Pardon typos, small phones and old eyes and clumsy aging fingers. Lucky the Hume Agency is a helping hand and cares."
